These Large Capacity Reaction Torque Transducers cover a wide range of measurement requirements with capacities from 25,000 to over 300,000 lbf-ft. They are available with either a Square Drive or Hollow Flanged mechanical configuration, allowing the flexibility to suit many different installations.
Features include robust mechanical design with high stiffness; very high mechanical overload ratings and high extraneous load carrying capacity, making them ideal for oil field use. Compact size and low weight of square drive models simplify their installation, handling and shipping to remote locations.
They have high accuracy specifications, ±0.1% or ±0.25% of full scale, model dependent. Each unit is provided with an NIST traceable, NVLAP accredited calibration certificate. All calibrations are performed in our ISO 17025 accredited laboratory. Applications include measurement of actuation torque for large valves, and use as a secondary standard for periodic calibration of make-up/breakout machines.
